RTFM, indeed

Six months after getting my digital camera, I finally took the time to read the manual.

Now, I finally know what that little tulip on the side of the camera means:

Go and take some pictures of flowers.

Some garden photographs.

(The fact that things are alive indicates that this isn't our garden.)

Sparklers!

Better late than never -- my Fourth of July entry:

Sparklers! Sparklers!

Enjoyed the fireworks a bit too much? Why don't you take the Pyro purity test?

Fun with a purpose.

Yesterday was an utterly wholesome family day.

Easter dinner (Ben's side) was followed by hours of Origami. Not the usual after-dinner holiday tradition, the paper-folding commenced after I tried unsuccessfuly to make a sailor's hat out of my napkin.

Minutes later, Ben's mom had their old Origami books and papers out, and Ben, my siblings-in-law and myself were transported back to the time when any difficult task required one's tongue to be partially stuck out.
