Inaction Figure is a project that my sister-in-law Sarah recently started with her two friends:
"Our first product is called The Chief. The chief is a plastic yellow bird with a smug look on his face. He's the king of birds! The Chief was designed by Sarah and built by Devin. When you order him you also get a twenty page storybook which, assuming you can read, makes it a better deal. The storybook, entitled "The Adventures of the Chief" is a work of fiction with few rivals."
Not mentioned on the site, but probably of interest to anyone considering puchasing him, is that he's about 6-7 inches tall. He's $12, a relative steal for a product hand-crafted with love.
If you decide to buy Chief, tell them Mena sent you. I won't get any money -- just some sister-in-law appreciation for supporting her bohemian lifestyle.

i'm sure you just scored a lot of sister-in-law points for referring to her life as a 'bohemian lifestyle' too. :) later gator.

I just bought The Chief. I don't know what it is about it, but as soon as I saw it, I wanted it. My check is in the mail.

I love the Chief! Great folk art. Just wish I knew how large it was (and that I could pay for it with a real credit card).

The Chief is my first official Christmas gift purchase 'o the season. I never start earlier than, oh, say December 5th, but when I saw this, I just knew my sis would love him.

You can pay with a credit card, but you probably figured that out already. Mena, the problem is that we raised the price to $22 due to shipping problems and problems getting the plastic. Can you change the thing on your blog so it says $22 rather than $12 so nobody gets angry and thinks we're trying to pull something.
Also Mena, thanks for putting that link there. You're invited to the Hundredaires party which will take place in the fall, as is everyone else in town.

I received the Chief in the mail today! He's bigger than I thought, and must've been painted right before being shipped. He still has that strong fresh paint smell. Ahhh!! Have a cool figure and get high at the same time! What a deal!
You can check him out at my site. http://www.chrisruzin.net
