Brad Choate

Hang Down Your Head, Tom Dooley (and here).

I think I would have recognized it on my own (nice work!), but your MP3 metadata gave it away... ;)

Dezi

heyyy sounds good! ;]

Morgan

Hang your head Tom Doooollleyyy...

Morgan

Oh MAN I didn't see Brad's link. I swear I got it just by listening... It's still one of the few songs I can play on a guitar (that and friar jacques)

Solonor

You didn't just pick up the banjo and start playing like that, did you? Very nice!

Pfish

Better than I could do at any rate. :)

(Tone deaf or something like it.)

Camille

When did you rent this thing? Sounds like you've had it for a while. Is it the first time you played? If Ben doesn't let you buy one now, then we'll have to donate for sure. You're great!!

Mena

Oh, Ben's all talk. He supports all my banjo endeavors.

Anil

Is that "Go Tell Aunt Rhody"? I like that the file's hosted on stupidfool.org.

paula

Wow! That sounds great!

I thought it was going to be one of those beginner songs like "Camptown Races" or something similar to what I got stuck with during my Accordion Years.

Kevin

Why isn't there a "Thank you, thank you." at the end?

SmartAss

Ok. Jury vote is in. You deserve your own banjo, regardless of whose bank account it comes out of ...

When i was a kid, i took banjo lessons for many years from Jim Smoak. I haven't picked mine up in ages...I probably have a spare capo, some finger picks and a banjo strap if you need 'em.

scottandrew

Damn. Okay, that's it, I'm renting a fiddle tomorrow.

Aaron

I thought it was a Zeppelin song at first.

But, alas.

Stuart

I think it's 'Hell Is My Fury' by Bollock Wrencher & The Ghost of Auschwitz

But who will play the washboard? :-)

Ed

Sounds a bit out of tune, but not bad! You could be the Sonic Youth of the banjo circuit.

Jere

:::Holds up lighter:::

brendog

Sounds fine, but it needs to be about 400% faster!
