Vintage Labels: The Lost Art of Travel and the History of the Luggage Label
This is the sort of link that would have appeared in A Day Late, which, you'll notice, is defunct. Getting A Day Late up and running again is dependent on how quickly my clone can be delivered.

Mena, very cool link! Thanks for sharring! Now if I could just get a ride on a Boeing 314 across the Pacific...

Hey Mena, thanks for the great link. I've enjoyed A Day Late, so I hope you get that clone soon!
(…or you could be a twin like me delegate all tasks to the "older" twin.)

Dear Mena,
Don't feel bad about A Day Late, everybody knows you rule (and when the clone arrives you will rule twice as hard!). The excellent luggage label site was entered into the MoOM today. It's in the Annex for now.

Thought you'd enjoy this item I ran across -- it reminded me of this post.

I just took a trip to Europe and wished fervently everytime I was at the airport luggage pickup that they still made those quirky and creative labels. Sure beats tying a koosh ball to the handle to figure out which suitcase is yours.

It's totally OK that A Day Late is defunct. You don't have to be Super Woman. Just be you.

Dear Mena,
Do not listen to Erica (above) it is absolutely not OK that A Day Late is now (I won't say defunct. I just won't say it) a few months late. Look, just being you is simply not good enough. We don't believe in that feel-good bullshit. Now, get that beautiful advent calendar of a weblog and it's daily kinder-surprise of a website back up right away. We're gonna let you slide a bit, you don't have to update it (ie: provide 80-odd beautiful unique links tomorrow), just start it up again as of now, I promise we'll all just forget about it the missing months, and whisper under our breath of "Mena's bad patch" and laugh and sing and dance and look at your page. It'll be ok, you'll see. Look if you need a few links have a look around and steal from my site or someone else's. God knows you've given enough beauty to the world. Now get to work, alleycat.
Best wishes,
DW.
