Ms. Booboolina has started SWAB. SWAB's clearly defined purpose:
A group of webloggers, 'bloggers, diarists, journalers, online personal publishers, etc., who want to get together for planned and unplanned social events. This can be as formal as planned dinners, or as informal as "Who wants to go see a movie?" Any and all are welcome to join the list and meet and hang out with fabulous folks in the San Francisco Bay area.
Clear and simple, SWAB has the potential to really provide an offline outlet for all us geeky types who spend a bit too much time in front of the computer.

Oops, hit enter by mistake. Sorry. Anyway, what should be interesting too see is how someone's online personality compares to seeing and talking to someone in person. After all, even with your name out there, bloggers have a certain shell of anonymity to shield them online, and it would be curious to see these people without that protective outer layer.

I wish there was something like this here in Wichita. But the only bloggers in Kansas are my friends that I convinced to start blogging...hehe.

Darnit, everything cool happens in SF.

I concur. All you people in SF stop having fun unless there's enough for everyone. How insensitive.

Anything like this in the Los Angeles Area? I'd be interested in going. Why is that all you SF people get to have all the fun? ;)

I agree all the cool stuff is in USA
Heck guys, at least you're all on the same continent...
If I could rally more than three bodies together who'd admit to being a blogger - I would run for Pres.
Hope you have some great times - I'll raise my glass to you all.

What can I say, Phienas? We San Franciscans know how to party and have no qualms about reveling into the early hours or morning and going into work scant hours later. Of course, it kills us the next day. But it's all worth it. ;)
