The Cotati Accordion Festival, one of Sonoma County's biggest events, is this weekend (August 25 and 26).
Will attending this event mean that Ben and I have completely freed ourselves from all those nasty self-conscious feelings that float around during one's teenage years?
Then: "No way am I going to be seen at an accordion festival!"
And now: "That sure seems like a neat way to spend a day. And I'll have a chance to wear my new pair of culottes!"
Maybe we can justify attending the festival because of its proximity -- Cotati is only ten minutes away from our house.
Anyhow, I'll take being a geeky twenty-something over a paranoid teenager any day.
But remember, Use an accordion, go to Cotati.
