I'd say that the rejection of the Kyoto treaty is probably a good indication that Bush is one of those campers that leaves more than footprints and takes more than memories. That's right, I wouldn't be surprised if the President was a campsite litterer!
Disgust over acceptance of such a blatantly discriminatory organization aside, I'm delighted and able to get through my day by picturing Bush as a character in the ground-breaking film, Troop Beverly Hills.
Shelley Long, Craig T. Nelson, "Harriet" from Small Wonder, a young Tori Spelling, a cameo by Pia Zadora -- this is the cast and film to see.
And it made quite the impression on both me and my sister-in-law.
I was a Brownie for one day.
I joined because I loved wearing uniforms. Brownies and Girl Scouts would wear their brown and green to school on the days they had after-school meetings. And, despite the fact that I wore a Catholic School uniform to school every day, I was completely envious of those girls.
So I joined. But, at the first meeting some older girls wouldn't let me write on the chalkboard and I decided I didn't want to be part of such a mean group of people.
One day? I gave it one day. That's a bit ridiculous. I was out of there before I even got to order my Brownie uniform.
Shelley Long would be so disappointed in me.
