I love this idea.
From the BookCrossing website:
Release it for someone else to read (give it to a friend, leave it on a park bench, donate it to charity, "forget" it in an airliner seatback pocket, etc.), and get notified by email each time someone comes here and records journal entries for that book.
Although it's a smashing concept, I don't know if I could just abandon a book unaware of its possible fate. Would a person in the general public actual go to the listed URL?
If I found a book, I would hope it would be better than the one I found in the first grade.
